Trying to do a concealed display install on an 07 Tahoe, are there any fuses on the driver's side that turn off with the ignition? I've tried a bunch and they all stay on.

Try the wire harness on the passenger side, I believe the gray w/ red stripe wire is the RAP wire that kills the power to the radio once the door is opened.

Google Invisicord. Plugs into the your rearview mirror power plug. I have one and love. Really easy to connect also.

I agree with using the invisicord, approximately 5 min. install , and very clean custom look with the rearview mirror mount.

I have the Invisicord for my radar detector.

I installed a single keyed outlet in the LTZ cup holder area. It is hidden by the small door and easily accessable when the door is open.

I purchased a non LTZ tray/cupholder for trips. I installed a double outlet in that. I just pop out the LTZ part, unplug the single outlet at a junction just under the tray, plug in the double outlet and pop the non LTZ tray in.
I now have lots of storage area for trip "stuff" and two key controlled outlets for cell phones//whatever.

I believe it's fuse 49 in the front fuse box I KNOW is a switched fuse. It's either RSE or the compass/mirror fuse

edit: yeah just looked, fuse 49 is RSE and is switched

I took power from that "box" on the left side of interior firewall--just above where your feet rest.
There is an empty ground source and keyed power source right there.
All you need are a couple of female connectors, wire, an in line fuse, a connector, and an outlet or two to be in business.

Old thread I know but it does turn up in google searches so thought I would add my 2 cents. On the 2011 Denali yukon at least the RSE fuse is powered all the time, in fact I could not find a single fuse on the interior driver side door fuse block that was switched, I tried at least 10 of them then just gave up (it's a pain pulling those fuses out).

BobMC's advice still holds for the 2011 though, there is a plugless connection with pins on the left side of the fuse block above and to the left of the brake pedal. In that connection the top far left pin and bottom far left pin both are switched power. I did not find a ground but I can get ground anywhere. Just FYI should anyone else be trying to connect a detector or dash camera to keyed power.

BTW if anyone is looking for a small but excellent 1080p dashcam for a good price use this one:
