Finished the job today. Started it and all is good

@donjetman How long did you run that mix of VPB and oil for? Your results are pretty convincing.

5100 miles, took a sample and sent it to the lab. Changed the oil with the same, put 1000 miles on the oil and then did this mx. Saved it and put it right back in and will run it till it has 5000 miles then send in a sample and see what is what.

Its not Valvoline Premium Blue, It is Valvoline Premium Blue "Restore", completely different and off the market for yrs now. I got lucky and found someone with 4 gals they didn't need and bought it from them.

I'm mistaken. I stopped by the local Cummins dealer in San Antonio, TX and they had 10 gals of it, $80/gal

you never know when your gonna need some, and you never know when they'll stop selling it, so I bought some, its quite unique.
