So one of those is a 50w? Isn't stock 25w or something?

Yes, OEM bulb is AC Delco Part #13582913 which is around 26w which calculates out to just over a 2 amp draw.
26 watts / 12.5 volts = 2.08 amps
These Vanquish Auto 50w bulbs calculate out to a 4 amp draw.
50 watts / 12.5 volts = 4.00 amps
The lights are wired in parallel with 14 gauge wire (standard for most automotive lighting). As you can see from the chart below the amperage is still well within the safe range for a 4 amp draw.
The fog lamps on my 2016 Denali are connected by themselves through the Engine Compartment Fuse Panel position 94 which is fused at 15 amps. 15 amps is typically the minimum amperage rating you will find on any automotive lighting circuit as you can see this also correlates with the chart below as to the maximum amperage a 14 gauge circuit can safely hold within the wiring distances typically found in the engine compartment.

Did they throw much more
Light than the 26w crees? I have 26w and figured the 50w would get too hot or throw an error code.

You haven't had any issues with them being too bright for on-coming traffic have you?
And thanks for the install instructions!!
