So going down the highway at 70 when you apply the brakes you can feel the brake pedal pulse and a slight vehicle vibration. Only does it so often, not every time. Had the Tahoe for three years now, when we bought the Tahoe the brakes and rotors looked brand new. All front end suspension parts have been replaced except for wheel bearings, brakes and rotors. The wheel bearings have no play at 12 and 6 o'clock position. Any ideas? Brake pads have more than 75% life still left, oh and tires are new.

Sounds like warped rotors to me. Haven't experienced this on my Tahoe but has happened to me on several work trucks, especially noticeable going downhill.

You can buy a magnetic base dial type indiactor and then....CHECK FOR DISC RUN OUT.

lift truck and take a wheel off with truck in neutral...stick the indicator to something stationary... place the needle against the disc and rotate it.

One at a time and compare findings to specifciation.

Something likely that anyways...Hopefully I come back and edit this . yikes.:boxed:

You don't have to replace them. There are a lot of places
That will resurface the rotors for you using a on car lathe.
