Hello All,
I am hoping y'all can help me with a strange AC issue as I am dying in this Houston heat.
My 04 Yukon Denali AC stopped working and I suspected it was the compressor and when I put 12 volts on that compressor it will not engage. I bought an AC kit and replaced the compressor, orifice tube, dryer / accumulator and the rear evaporation valve and replaced them all. I pulled a vacuum to 30 mm Hg and seems to hold vacuum for at least an hour.
So here is where it gets odd I put in 3 12 oz cans of R134 and I can get it to 35 on the low side and 180 on the high side and the rear gets a bit cool but the front is still hot. When I try to put in more R134 then it would hit 100 on the low side but the high side stays the same.
I am not sure if there is a blockage or something. I am very confused where to troubleshoot next.
Thanks All.
