I need help locating a vin number, although it's not a yukon, tahoe, or escalade, I figure a good portion of the group is familiar with General Motors vehicles in general.

Background
Vehicle appears to be a stolen recovery and has been sitting at our yard for a few months. I would like to notify the owner of the recovery but have yet to find a vin number. We retrieved the vehicle on behalf of the city and the city does not have a vin inspector so we're kind left to own to find them.

It appears to be a 2022ish 5.3L 1500 GMC Sierra

Thanks in advance

Not sure if the people that burned it down put this sticker on, or if the owner put the sticker on, but if it's the latter it might help with identification if anyone on here lost or knows someone that lost a new Sierra in the PNW

I would think there is a VIN on the frame somewhere.

You may find the VIN on the driver's side doorjamb, inside the glove compartment, on the right-hand dash panel, or the top left-hand side of the frame between the steering gearbox and firewall. The letters I, O, and Q are not included in a VIN to avoid confusion with the numbers 1 (One) and 0 (Zero).

This is the difficulty I'm having, everything is toasted.
