Viper 5901 Install Update: Need a little help

So pending some special deliveries from the UPS man Ill have all the parts I need (I hope), to install a Viper 5901.
Ive got the XK09 adapter thingy, the 5901, and the glass break sensor. The only thing I still need to buy is some crimp caps and small zip-ties.
Ive read about every thread on this forum, GM Full Size, and various other forums about either Alarm installs in a Denali or GMT-800, 5901 installs in other vehicles or 5901 in GMT-800.
Ive got a PDF of the install instructions, a PDF of the user guide, and the online Chilton with the wiring diagrams.
Ive set aside 2 days for the install but I'm not convinced all the stuff will arrive on time so it may be a only day + 5 hours.
Im pretty sure I've got down everything I need to know for the install. Anything that I should know that's not common knowledge about installing this guy?
Ive got an 04 Yukon XL Denali

Eh, not worth it to me to pay the extra $400 to have it installed. Not to mention I hardly trust anybody to work on my car.
I figure if me and my fraternity brother cant figure this out were both a waste of oxygen.

Me and a buddy installed the same unit is my 2006 tahoe last weekend. Took about 2 hours. Wasn't that bad actually. Will be a lot easier since you have the xk09 adapter. I would suggest you pre-wire the xk09 to the alarm before you get started. We had the wiring diagram for my truck which saved a bunch of time. What took the longest was the initial configuration of the alarm. the steps you have to take to set the sensor and stuff from the remote. Great unit tho and the remote start is awesome. First time I've had that feature. Enjoy!!

Well, spent all day working on it today, and im about halfway there. Got the door lock and unlock working but thats about it. Door sense isnt working so i think I have that hooked up wrong.
Ill have to wait until next weekend to finish it since school and work will be in the way all week. If anything its motivation to get homework done sooner so i can finish it. I def wasted a lot of time though today. Tomorrow morning after i finish some homework Ill get a list of things i still need to figure out together.
I really need to find a better source for wiring diagram for my truck though, the chilton is nice sort of but its a bit cumbersome and hard to locate all the things I need. Once I get it all done ill probably have a really good write up for er'body.

Update, spent another couple hours on it today in between classes. Got all the wires wired up, with the exception of changing the door triggers its done. Once it get it all straightened out Ill probably go though and re route/shorten a few wires and clean up the wiring and then button it back up.

Problems
1) Remote start wont start, it wont even crank the starter. More on that in a minute when i explain what wires were where.
2) The shock sensor wont pick up anything. I have the sensitivity adjusted all the way up and it still wont pick up me rocking the truck back and forth by the roof rack. If i give the hood a strong hit it will pick that up.
3) I have the additional glass break sensor and it seems to be non-functional, the led isnt even turning on, do i really need the bit writter to enable it?
4) Driver priority unlock doesnt work, when i unlock with the remote it unlocks all the doors. I have it set to single pulse unlock im pretty sure, which should just do the driver door, since its through the XK09 and that supposedly supports priority unlock.
5) Im pretty sure the started kill isnt working either. I had to unground the alarm to re-ground the neutral safety wire and it was going off, i tried to start the car while that was happening and it started no problem.

Remote start.
Here is how I currently have the ten remote start wires tied in, from memory.
5901 wires to their places on the truck
Ign 1 I/O (pink) to the pink ign wire in steering column
Fused Ign 2 (Red/white) to white ign 2 wire in steering column
Accsy Output (orange) to brown accsy wire in steering column
Starter output (violet) to the starter side of yellow starter wire in steering column
Starter input (green) to the key side of the yellow starter wire in steering column
Fused Ign 1 (red) to pink ign wire in steering column
Ign 2 output (pink/white) to white ign 2 wire in steering column
Fused Accsy/starter input (red/black) to pink ign wire in steering column

Now when I press the remote start button the remote thinks the truck has started and starts counting down. The truck clicks a few relays and the alarm unit clicks but nothing happens. What did I do wrong? Ive set auto trans mode already.

3.Orange (+)Accessory Output - Orange wire, shows +12V in run but not start position
4.Violet (+)Starter Output (Car Side Of Starter Kill) - Starter side of purple wire (cut), shows +12V in start position
5.Green (+)Starter Input (Key Side Of Starter Kill) - Ignition switch side of above purple wire
6.Red Ignition 1 Input (30A Fused) - WHITE IGN 2
7.Pink/White (30) Flex Relay Output - NC
8.Pink/Black (87a) Flex Relay Input - NC
9.Red/Black Accessory/Starter Relay Input (30A Fused) - BROWN ACC 2
