Volant CAI Installed. Now my comments

Inspection plate is not clear plastic. Black abs that is insulated with a thin liner of closed cell phone. Just got another email from autoanything. proper length sleeve being shipped directly to me. Now I need to wiggle under my rig on a cold morning and try to find a pesky exhaust leak downstream of the manifolds. Been wanting to upgrade the exhaust anyway.

ok guys, here's some images. The one shows the Volant CAI installed in my 96 tahoe (5.7L). The next shows how I had to use the stock duct between the MAP and the intake tube. The sleeve Volant included with the kit was a couple inches too short. They are supposed to be sending me the proper length sleeve. For now the stock duct works fine.
