Vortec 454/4L80e HD swapped 1999 Tahoe OBS

Looks like fronts were Tactical Extreme TX6R 16” Rotor Base PN 140-13876 and rears were Aerolite with 14.25” Rotor Base PN 140-9838. I bought them together as a kit along with the matching brake lines, you have to use Wilwoods lines.View attachment 223819

Conversion? It always had disc brakes, it’s an 02.

I just checked and I guess Wilwood doesn’t make a kit for the OBS? That sucks.

they use brake disc that has the hub/bearing/studs everything as one, have to set preload on the wheel bearings and all that crap. its not as easy as just throwing a common disc onto a rotor hat.

youd need something like

without the spindle....but thats prob the only thing the caliper will bolt to

Yep that looks like a hassle even if they made a kit for the OBS. Damn.
