wow, all these great replies........... just wish they were in English!! so can i just cut the power to drl's and splice into the power going into the parking lights and run it into the drl??

It does work. That's how I did mine......and for future reference, as long as the circuits have the same amperage, you're good.

Exactly. Then tape off the old power end or pull the drl fuse for safety.

I ran mine in parallel. I feel it's actually safer. If I'm not mistaken, it more evenly distributes the load across 2 circuits, instead of overloading 1 circuit.

Ahhh I see....that would work well but your DRL's and Parking lights stay on all day correct? Do you have control when they are on an off??

I converted my DRLs to amber running lights running lights, so that doesn't really matter to me, but I'm sure we could figure it out if you needed to.

Yes, you can do this, but you must splice both the 12V and ground wire. However, if you do it this way, you will not have DRL's on during the day. They will only be on at night with your parking lights.
