So I have searched and searched and I can't solve my problem. First, I am looking at a 99 2 door Tahoe to buy. I love it. As expected, there's a few issues but by far the biggest problem is the seats. The foam is really flat making the seats squishy and hot to sit in. I live in Alabama so the heat is a serious issue.
I have looked at the seat covers from theseatshop.com and they look great to recover the seats but they don't make the foam for this model. Only for the model after. I know you can use a steamer to get back some of the life but how well does this work when the foam is pretty beat up?
Is there anywhere to buy new foam for the 1999 Tahoe 2 door?
In the seemingly infinite knowledge of the people on here, perhaps I am completely overlooking a much simpler/effective solution to the seat problem.
I am pretty handy with tools so I am not afraid of doing a little work.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
