I would appreciate lots of pics of 00-06's with 20" chrome or polished wheels. My 03 currently has the factory 16" rims and I'm sill on the fence as to go with 17" or 20" as an upgrade. I'm in the 'older', more 'conservative' crowd so bear with me... I ruled out the in-between 18" option due to the lack of selection of wheels and appropriate all-season street tires. Every time I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on 20's, I find myself thinking, 'that's going to look too extreme for 'middle aged family guy'. So...your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to convince me I can be comfortable in my skin with 20" wheels. The more side angle pics the better...TIA!

PS: Any experienced observations of the pros or cons of running 285/50 vs 275/55 on these older tahoes would be appreciated as well...

I understand where you are coming from. I wanted a different set of wheels for my denali as well but really didnt want big wheels (but I would have bought a set if the deal was sweet). I went with oem 22's. I have not put them on yet. I have been a bit busy at work.

Any who..... In the beginning I was just going to go with a set of 05-06 20inch wheels. They look good and dont really look too "in your face"

These:

i thnk 20s are the way to go. one of these days im gonna ditch our 16s and do it...i got 20s on the tundra and cant imagine going back to the 18s it had. the 16s on the yuk just look tiny. ive gotta find some clean NNBS 20s like what is posted directly above..those look sweet on that color.

Thanks man but my truck is nothing compared to some of these other trucks on the forum. If you want you can ask me questions about my rig on this thread.:happy160:
