I bought a 2007 Yukon in August and love it but have a few issues. The first is that I have a water leak some where. After I bought it I went through the carwash and no leaks. Next time it rained it started leaking down the a pillars, my the moonroof, by the light right behind my head and all the way to the back( you can see the water stains) now it leaks every time it rains. I brought it to my local gm dealer and they checked the drain tubes and they dropped the headliner and resealed the moonroof and roof rack but it still leaks. Brought it back and said they couldnt find a leak after running water on it for four hours?!?! I'm not a body guy so I'm lost? Any tips or suggestions would be great!! Thanks!!

First.
Check the two tubes in the front. They are at each edge of the front of the sunroof opening under the chrome molding. Open the sunroof get inside the truck and do it popping your head out the sunroof. Bring like three regular bottles of water. Pour water down them and see if it comes out the bottom by the edge of the fender. If it doesn't go down it can be clogged in which you will need to blow air down it you don't need allot of pressure.

Pop the headliner down in the middle of the door. You have to remove the two number 7 screws and 2 ten that hold the pillar on and the handle. You will see a double female tube that connects the rear drains to the front. Make sure the tube is plugged in on both ends. Mine failed here and I used a lil silicone to hold the tube in once I placed it back together.

The dealship said they checked the tubes also. But I will look at it this weekend. I did pour some water down the tubes after the first time I noticed leaking and when I did the rear passenger side I had water coming out from right by the rear door and then by the front tire. The only one that didn't work seemed to be front drivers side. Also I only opened the moonroof once. Not sure where all the water gets in from??

It's a simple process of elimination. You will solve it. It's on you bro. Trust but verify.
