Watts for stock alternator?

What is you end goal? is this it or are you planning to keep going bigger etc?

Kinda, amps x volts = watts. So your 1000 watts / 14.4 volts = 70A worth of alternator you will need JUST for that. Idk what the stock vehicle needs of the stock alternator, but you can see their COULD be headroom.

I think a 250+ amp alt is overkill. I ran 2500 RMS and another 800.4 amp for mids and highs on a stock 140amp alt and 2 batteries. 1/0 wiring etc.
