Just replaced driver amd passenger on my 08 denali and was simple and took about 5 min a door cost me 110 to buy the two new seals from the gmc dealer, gotta pop the plastics pieces amd slap the new ones in. Good luck

Would you happen to have the part #'s?

$38 each is cheap - who was the seller? Cheapest I am seeing them is $65.

So is the floor trim cover the only piece that needs to be removed and the rest of the seal just fits in or does around the fuse panel (drivers side) need to be separated somehow?

The seller is Berglundchev the cheapest I was finding was also $65 until yesterday. I'm not sure about the trim and fuse panel.

Buy one piece of that seal for both doors. Actually left side and right side seal are exactly same, dealer just wants make more money from different part #.

What you only need to do is that replaces driver door with new seal. Then cut off torn section of the seal on passenger door frame, cut a good section from the one removed from driver door as a patch, install it. Usually, the torn section is located on the bottom on door frame,

It's only about 2 feet on both sides that needs to be replaced. Right around the foot area from getting into and out of the truck. So only 1 of to both sides huh? I guess my only concern would be seeing the "cut" marks that may make it noticable that only a small section was replaced. Thoughts ?

You will see the cut mark, which is an extra joint seam, but no water leaking. Also, you can use silicon caulking to seal the cut mark.

The weather strip is NOT a loop, it always has a joint seam. What you patch the torn section is just add an extra joint seam.

Be money wise.
