I replaced my AC blower motor and motor resistor because my fan would intermittently stop blowing. Well then the fan wouldn't blow at all. I checked and it was getting power but the squirrel cage did not spin. Then by accident, I touched the fan housing against the body of the truck and the squirrel cage started spinning. It has been working ever since. Any idea why that worked?

I guess the ground that was on the motor wasn't really grounded. I added a ground wire to the fan motor and now it is working great.

Still check to make sure your grounds on the fender well behind the battery are clean as well. The motor grounds thru it after going thru a connector near the blower motor.
