So I reprogrammed my old (factory original) key fob to work with my Camaro. When I bought my truck two years ago I got a new key and remote fob. I also got the original set as a spare. Since I never use my original fob I decided to reprogram it for the car. I followed the steps to reprogram it and it worked. While I did this the Yukon was well out of range of the remote. Once I confirmed the fob was working I pulled the truck back inside so I could lock them up. I then proceeded to lock the Camaro with the old fob that had just been reprogrammed. When I hit the lock button both the Yukon and the Camaro locked??? The weird thing is the newer key fob I used daily for the Yukon only works on the Yukon, but the factory original fob works on both now. Anyone have a clue what I did? I'm at a loss lol

I wonder if I repeat the learning process for the Yukon's fob the truck would forget the old fob.

good to see theres more camaro owners on here!

thats actually really awesome other than when they are in range of each other. one fob for both both rides. if you relearn on the truck it should only learn the new fob, or thats what i have read, so if you lost one, it wouldn't still unlock your truck.
