Hi all, have a strange condition that started last fall.
If I jump in and just turn the key to start as soon as I put it in the ignition, I'll either get clicking or the truck will act like I've completely lost voltage and everything goes off, DIC resets date/time, etc like complete dead battery status, but if I turn the key to the on position, let the fuel pump prime, Etc, wait like 30-60 seconds it'll start fine. And if I forget and I try to start it too quickly I just wait like 30 seconds and everything basically wakes back up again and I can start it fine.
Sometimes I get lucky and it will crank immediately but on those occasions the engine sometimes quits running like a second after it starts.
I'm also having a bit of a rough erratic idle that sometimes drops to 250 rpm and stumbles and almost dies, worse in gear with AC on. Anything off-idle to WOT it runs great though.
150k miles I'm like 2nd or 3rd owner don't know what if anything has been replaced or when.
Any ideas?
