Well my 2021 Tahoe didn’t get picked up after 5 months of being on order. As of today I have 2022 on order.

My dealer just got all the pricing today. There is no pricing yet. I believe 2021 build out is Oct 1st but I could be wrong. I ordered a High Country deluxe and should have the new dash.
Diesel engine is on hold till the end of 21 at earliest. If it is a must have, better search one on the ground now and buy it wherever it is….Has anybody tried putting in a "build order" that require a deposit at multiple dealerships, just to see which one will get an allocation first ? I've had my build for a denali on the "waiting list" at one dealer since august. I spoke with two others today who said they can take a deposit and get my order in the system for a 22.
I'm not hopeful on it getting picked up any time soon from any dealer/gm (diesel and air ride required) just impatient and needing to replace this 2011 grand cherokee ASAP
Ive called on everyone in 1000 miles of me and they were all presold.I keep my eyes open everywhere, but dealerships don't order bench seat denalis for their "inventory stock" orders, especially with a diesel.... just going to hope, pray, and wish for a little luck on my side to make this build happen sooner rather than later.
I think I have only seen maybe a dozen or so diesels pop up in dealerships "inventory" around metro detroit since I started looking in Feb. All of course were pre-sold. I stayed away from building a 21 since it was a new model year during a pandemic... was wishful thinking availability would be a little better for 22, but as we can see now, still going to be a long battle as buyers.
I have official build orders in at 3 dealerships that didn't require a deposit (2 small town and one larger) and thinking about one more that I've been speaking to that requires a $1000 deposit that is refundable because it seems like they get a lot of allotments. Mine is diesel too w/ premium package so I know it will be a while. I've tried to talk a couple into waiting for a deposit once GM actually picks up the order, I would be totally fine with that but none of them liked that idea.Has anybody tried putting in a "build order" that require a deposit at multiple dealerships, just to see which one will get an allocation first ?
