garry, the 6.0s are nice but the 5.3 is VERY capable of making crazy numbers. never seen it done in a truck, but ive seen multiple cars with turbo 5.3 conversions making 1000hp.

heres a video of a 5.3 with spray in a mustang. the motor has cam, springs, and pushrod, other wise stock. theres many videos of the car progressing from the 12s

i have a ls1 build book that has a 6.0 build section.

What book is it if you dont mind. Id be interested in reading it.

All this 6.0 talk makes me want one so friggin bad.

Your telling me. Especially after driving one. b/c mine has absolutly no take off power.

i sat down and read it in like 6 hrs, lol. i have a hard time reading, i usually read 20 pages while thinking about something else then cant remember what i read. but theres a few subjects that keep my attention.

maybe i can get the book back and mail it to someone, then they can mail it to another when done, and so on

theres the book on amazon, not too cheap like i was thinking. Is the book pretty informative and lengthy. In other words, its not like 20 pages and all pictures is it?
