i got the winch mount from a local truck accessory place here in town did not see much info on winch mounts on tahoes.the part # is westin 46-22275. i think i payed 250$ for it. i did not have to remove the whole bumper but some may have to i was able to get all the bolts out and gave me enough space to use a drill you should only have to drill out 2 holes on each side.i also cut a little bit of the bumper or slotted it basically where the tow hooks were. hopefully this helps some like me who tried a while to figure out what would work before buying.20240904_132935.jpg20240904_132941.jpg20240904_132945.jpg20240904_132951.jpg20240904_133025.jpg

a few other pointers i had to get crafty with long needle nose pliers to get the nuts started inside where the tow hooks were then i used a combo of wrenches and sockets to get it tight. also remember to mark before drilling and it helps if someone can hold it while you check to make sure it looks square and level. i used some blocks and a jack to hold mine up in place where i wanted it then marked where to drill

Too bad it doesn't use the tow hook bolt holes instead.

Looks awesome man! Thank you for sharing. I've been thinking of similar ideas, but yours looks great. I will keep this in mind for next year's adventures.
