Hapyspaz, you have a very nice truck

Your 275 70 18's work out to 33.2 x 10.8
If i get 295 75 16 i would sit at a 33.1x 11.6

So you have a 2.5 front with crank. How much crank? Think your sitting at around 4inches? 3.5 inches?

If i get new rims i could run the 295's with 4 inches of lift. Then have the option to go higer to fit 315s.

Does getting a 2-3 inch kit put as much stress on the front end as cranking?
This truck won't be wheeled.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP

Also 99chevytahoe a 295 75 is bigger and thinner than a 305 70 thats why i was leaning to them

I would say it is 4" cranked. And it is cranked all the way.

Keep in mind that when going wider with tires, lifting is not the issue, wheel backspacing is more of a concern. Getting to 305 or more you are going to be needing -25 or "more" offset. eg. Dick Cepek wheels are commonly -50. Stock is +25, thats 75mm difference, or pushed outward 3 inches.

I bought a set of 295/75r16 BFG AT off craigslist for a good deal. What backspacing would i need if i wanted to do the 4inch lift? I'm assuming the same as a 2-3inch lift as well? I don't really want to cut fenders. I would buy 16x8.

If i bought the 6" inch kit and ran it at 4" and decided down the road to go to 315's and crank it up a bit would the rims i buy to fit the 295's work still?

I'm getting closer.... i can feel it.:rocking:
