The Code Alarm systems that I see seem to have a siren, do they use the horn as well? The CA6551 system looks nice. Anyone have that one? It appears to the their best alarm.

i went ahead and ordered a viper alarm because i got it for like $60 brand new its the viper 5104v with the remote start and shock sensor. It was returned because the customer did not want it anymore so i went ahead and picked it up. it should be here tomorrow or the next day then i will install it. Also got my tahoe back last friday. insurance cut me a check because they did not want to buy a new door panel or a new center console. happy to have it back!

most of them come with the siren as well. I usually put it inside the vehicle, just underneath the dash, pointing down. Since most people don't pay any attention to the siren and the horn of your truck will be going nuts, you might as well try and make it as painful as possible to sit inside the vehicle while the alarm is going off.

Will any typical alarm open my rear door? I have stock keyless entry and with my remote I cane open the truck and the glass panel, wonder if I would look it with a alarm

with some creativity it will. It depends on how many aux outputs the alarm has and whether or not the integration module works those options.
