What are the best spark plugs for my 97 tahoe.

Guys as you know I just put a new motor in my 97 tonka truck. What plugs do you suggest and why? thanks

+1 on the OEM's and here's why. Back before I put in my new motor, I was fouling two plugs a week on two different cylnders (I had a head/valve something or other problem), I tried various brands of plugs. Cheapo/Expensive, different materials, etc. Some fouled up quicker than others, but the ones that seemed to last the longest without causing me grief was the AC Delco's from the dealer. I run AC delco's in my new motor.

as long as they are OEM ACDelco, NAPA is fine too

I just put some E3 plugs in my hoe.E3 Spark Plugs provide fast and complete burn of the fuel during each combustion cycle. This results in all of the fuel being put to work, which increases power, improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions. That's just what I heard.

Get them wherever you can find them. For stock go with AC Delco Platinum or Iridum plugs.

I however use NGK TR6 copper plugs for my boosted application.

rockauto.com has some great prices on plugs....i'm buying some ac delco's next week.

A/C Delco wether its standard or performance.

I run e3's and quite happy. When I installed them, also added a MSD BOX and it had a peppier start up.
