Hi all,

I recently found a 2008 Suburban LT for sale that seems to have all the options of the LTZ package - 6.0, nav, leather, sunroof, power seats, Bose sound, backup sensors, backup cam.

Are there any options/standard features on the LTZ that simply are not available on the LT? Is air ride the only one? Thanks all.

No 6.0 in the LTZ, 6.2 in later years of the Tahoe but not 08. For 08 - Autoride, possible power running boards, heated seats, memory seats.

Later years (2010) - Cleaned up rear bumper (like Escalade / Denali), cleaner body side molding w/ chrome, heated / cooled seats, 6.2 available in some configs.

Thanks for your reply. I was looking at Suburbans, which is why it had the 6.0. I had no idea that power running boards were ever a factory option, that's interesting.

Heated and memory seats is an option on the LT models.

you were looking at suburban 2500 if it had a 6.0 fyi

Actually I found out that the 1500 Sub was offered with a 6.0 for only three years, 07-09. It's a different version (or different tune?) than the 6.0 in the 2500 that puts it up on hp and down on torque a little.

I thought for sure you were right, but after Googling, 2007-09s did have the 6.0L as an option...

"The 2007-2009 Suburban 1500 is also available with a 366-hp 6.0-liter V8 with variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation, however it is not E85 capable."

Yeah, they're pretty rare - IIRC there were less than 2000 6.0/1500 Suburbans made in those three years. Most of the ones I'm finding for sale have around 165-185000 miles, so I'm holding out til I can find one with fewer miles. In something as heavy (especially with all LTZ options)as the Burban, I think I'd appreciate the extra power of the 6.0 over the 5.3.

I thought it was only the 3/4 ton Suburban with the 6.0 for the horse pullin' crowd, but I'm not positive. Heated steering wheel is another LTZ only option...

Blind spot monitor for 09+ LTZ (I believe it's 09? That's when a lot of improvements came) Bluetooth and usb as well.
