I am getting a solid 15.5 city right now since I live in Phx and have the AC on all the time now. I was getting 16-17 in the winter before my BB tune so I am hoping that will be closer to 18 in the winter. I et 17-20 highway(pre BB), it just depends on the trip. If I drive to LA from PHX I only get like 15 because it's a super windy drive and it's all on a slightly uphill grade that makes the MPGs go to shit. If I drive to Northern AZ which ends up at like 7Kft I can get 19+ since it's steep climbs with lots of down hill..... I plan on doing the e-fan soon and that will help a lot....

A couple things come to mind. First try BP or Shell gas, also the lack of bottom end torque sounds like the torque converter may not be stalling enough. Set the e-brake and powerbrake it to full throttle for about 2 seconds and see if the rpm's jump to 1500 or so. Also see what the rpms jump to from a dead stop to WOT as the truck just starts to move. My wife's 02 tahoe jumps to like 1600rpm on take off at about 40% throttle. (I'll do a WOT soon) Also a friend of mine's hoe won't get over 850rpm before the converter reaches its flash speed. Needless to say he's probably gonna get a converter soon to help pull his boat. Plus if the converter is that messed up it may not lock up. But its hard to say saywithou won yours without seeing live data. Even the data that Justin has may not be enough because it may not have been "acting up" while that data was recording. Diagnostics can be a BIT@±.

I use quality gas, either mobil or bp..doesnt make a difference..i tried the stall and it went up to about 1600-1800..im just not sure anymore..i mean the truck drives great, has good power when your crusing, just absolutely no low end and bad mpg..

could it just be that your 2004s and such have more power and are newer compared to my 2000?

around town i get around 15-16 and on the highway if i stick to about 65mph i get 20 mpg. i have a BB 91 octane tune, spectre CAI and a flowmaster catback. i`m sure i`d get more if i didn`t put the 20`s on (90 lbs each) compared to 60 lbs for the stock 16`s.

and if you have 3.42's and add a couple inches in tire height, basically you have like 3.08's pulling a 6000lb truck...

so $20 gets you what, 8 gallons? Here, has is $2.49...and your using good gas because of tune...so maybe higher?

so $20, get's 8 gallons.

15 miles to the gallon is 120 miles.

16-17 in town and 20.5 highway if I go 65 mph. Here's what I've discovered: I was getting 12 - 13 in town when I had a K&N filter in the box. I took out the filter and gave me 16 - 17. More torque, more response and better mileage.....but I'm driving without a filter....this means time to buy a CAI. The hoe wants more air :)
