How about a transfer case that isn't made out of magnesium? Also, proper mounting for the oil pump in the transfer case so that it doesn't wear a hole in the case.
NP246 pump rub forced me to replace the transfer case in mine. Fortunately, it was under warranty.

I'm onboard with everything mentioned...
...I opted for the '05 versus the '06 for one stupid reason: the visor extenders were deleted in '06, along with carpet on the bottoms of the doors.
That insanely easy to scratch gray paint on the Denali console and IP bezels cost me about $500 to fix...with new parts!

i have to jump in on this.
1. weak window motors
2. a jack that isnt worth the metal it was made with.
3. dimmer switch unlit.
4. not enough interior lighting (imo)

auto dim pass mirror
my damn temp gauge is so dark i cant read it EVER
that dumb gray stuff on all the interior parts of the denali, instrument cluster include, had to paint it all
no BLACK INTERIOR
better interior lighting, my map lights dont light up?
all the lights in my switches are dying...
the 02 didn't have double din...
AWD that i cant turn off...
that jack is effing useless
my underhood lamp is dead and shows no sign of coming back
one touch close sunroof
the location of the trans cooler... idk where else they could put it, but if you rear end anyone it gets destroyed and you gotta get a tow.

the onstar system that has a mic above me, a speaker above me and tons of other parts that i can't remove, including the damn antennae on the roof.

the d-pillars not being colormatched... why not use the esky ones? they look much better.
