...and the car even act better at high speed.
6:00 am Davenport Fl. 9:45 pm Brick NJ same day.

That's been my experience with my older one too. She just seems to hunker down and feels like she's on rails. @Ben Hinz is from Davenport and we go up that way a few times a year for the kids. Small world.

My last trip from Miami-NYC in November it took me 34 hours. I was gridlocked in Virginia for hours on I-81 due to constant incidents and only one lane open for miles..When I take I-95 I am gridlocked in Woodbridge and surrounding areas. Average speed in Virginia is generally 0-10 MPH..Maryland is no bargain either. When I went thru Georgia both times it was loaded with Leos. Barely see any Leos in Florida or the Carolinas but there was a few sitting out there in N.C in their Tahoe's.

There was a Leo in N.C. emptying everything out of a Explorer on to the shoulder in the pouring rain..The driver could have been a mule..It used to take me 24 hours to get to the Lincoln Tunnel from Miami but have not seen that for years.

Used to make that run in about 24 hours in the truck and 17 hours by car with minimal stops. Last time we sat in Jersey for hours and hours. Always try to time the runs so the major cities are traversed outside of their rush hours. Don't even try to run straight through anymore, Lumberton, NC is where we call it a day and rest for the night.
