Drove through some snow today before the snow plows came through. Appreciated the short PPV air dam and front level with Bilstein 5100s.

What setting are your shocks on (and how close to you on being level with the rear)?

Size tires?

Are those GM colormatched flaps or aftermarket?

Shocks in the front are set at the highest level (1-4, set at 4). That gave me 1.6 inches of lift in the front. I have the max tow package and decided to leave the rear air shocks alone, self leveling still works fine. All together it is very close to the perfect level, and I like how it looks. You need to like the stance of the Trail Boss 2019+ Silverado / Sierra AT4 or 2021 Tahoe Z71 though, because it looks different from the stock and ‘nose high’ from some angles.

Tires are 275/65r18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s. I had them installed prior to the shocks and I had a very minor rub only when making a sharp turn and hitting a bump. All good now.

The flaps are black Weathertechs. Decided on those because I didn’t want more Chevy logos on my Tahoe.

Looks great, how do you like the Bilsteins? Is the ride ok with the extra lift? What did you set it at? I didn't know they made them for that purpose. Now I am intrigued.

EDIT never mind I missed your post thanks.

I like how this combination rides (Bilsteins in the front, OEM air lifts in the back). Bilsteins make sense for a heavy vehicle with beefy A/T or M/T tires. It rides more cushy and more like a truck, don't get me wrong, so if you are looking for an improved cornering - these won't do. The extra damping capacity is nice though.

I might put more weight on the nose of the truck in the future, e.g. snow plow prep or a front 2 inch receiver, so leveling it now seemed reasonable.

Did this a couple weeks ago, so late to the party. I finally made myself a harness to have factory Denali HID headlights on my SLT Yukon that came with halogens.

Changed the oil and added factory skid plates. This is my first on k2, and damn - thats a lot of oil! Im gonna need a bigger boat. Does anyone still sell 4 qt jugs anymore? 2 would work out nicely. I still have 2 qts of new oil in 1 jug which left me scouring my recycle bin for the 3 extra qts of dirty oil. Also, whos the dbag that designed the angle on the filler neck? Had to stand on my head filling it up - time to go funnel shoppin. Finally, this is the first time I noticed a marked reduction in engine noise after a change. The Rotella Gas Truck is the ****...

Pics of plastic vs metal skid setup. There are actually 2 narrow plates under the plastic as shown, so its not as weak as I thought; all metal is better though...f3915cfc870e01c61d8c87b0081a68f4.jpg215e678962a02edb3e60bd2357bfe8d0.jpg07611daa834517321bd1b2b6a720be66.jpgf717cdece014c3e82707eb15fe1b349d.jpgc59eb9b247512e34496adca784044722.jpgce9dcfbb7020d880cd2bb48cb0d67928.jpg
