What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Huh, ok. Just curious. Good to know - that experience might save someone some serious coin. I've always been told Nivomats must be replaced with Nivomats. I didn't believe it either and wasted time and money finding out the hard way. I guess the Durango must be different.

Not really sure how those shocks are self-levelling since there are no sensors attached to them. Haven’t investigated the system at all. Shocks looked just like your normal shocks as seen in the pic I posted.

If they were Magnaride, that would be whole nother ballgame.

The only self-levelling stuff I’ve ever worked on have been either hydraylically (old MBs) or air (Ford) operated.

not sure what all was changed, but i do love the output. i have them adjusted up slightly to illuminate farther ahead...and it must be just right. it appears high when viewing, but not a single car flashed us during the trip.

i do know this, the 3.0 is advertised as being adjustable by war of turning the bulb after install...i have not been able to make that happen, unless it is a super tight adjustment and i didnt feel the need. when viewing head on, the bulbs are identical in output and the cut off line is dead flat.

This site explains it pretty well. They look just like regular shocks and are completely self-contained. Neat tech...until you have to replace 'em.

Today I removed my factory fog housings and installed 4 rigid industries d series lights. 2 rigid SAE/DOT fog lights and 2 d series pro in a flood beam pattern.

Rigid industries provides a wiring harness with a small switch. I ran the wires through the rubber grommet in the firewall into the cab of the Tahoe and connected the switch. Right now I just have the switch zip tied under the dash near the hood release lever but once I can get my hands on a dremel I will install the switch in the dash just below the factory light switches

you can choose whether you plan to mount 1 or 2 lights and if you will be using rigid industries lights or Baja designs.
when you order the rigid industries lights they come with all the required wiring harnesses etc.
I did order an H16 to deutch adapter on Amazon to wire the sae/dot fogs directly to my factory fog light wiring. I did have to sand one of the tabs off of the adapter as our tahoes have PSX26 fog bulbs/connectors which is slightly different than H16/PSX24. But it took me 30 seconds with a small file on my leatherman. I will attach a picture of the adapter below.

Ordered a set of H11 Morimoto 2stroke 3.0s. I'm really not a huge fan of putting LEDs into factory housing, but guess I'll try and see how they look like. Had them in wife's previous (2010 Tahoe) one and I got them pretty well situated so they didn't scatter and blind others too bad.

I also finally have all the stuff to do the fog light/tow hook conversion, just kind a been busy to have gotten to it. And the damn weather's also been kind of crappy every weekend since the beginning of January. Might actually need to consider LEDs also for the fogs while I'm in there.

you wont be disappointed in the 3.0's...being in a projector rather than a traditional halogen housing is far different than the previous models, i have mine adjusted UP slightly after install...have not had a single driver flash me yet, and recently did a 1600 mile trip.
