Did mine this morning. I hate these quick connections. I thought everything was peachy. Idled until it started warming. Went for a test drive, and the one toward the top popped loose. F#$&&king mess. Deputy pulled up thinking it was on fire.

Got under and the line snapped in. Audibly and by touch. Had some fluid with me so added it. Started limping home. Almost there and that connector popped again.

you have to be sure those lines are inserted properly all the way, you can do it by putting the clip on first then snapping the line in or push the line in and then put the clip back on

I did. I tried to reuse the old ones. Apparently the snap rings got distorted so wouldn’t keep the line in place.

I found replacements for the entire connection, then reassembled the mess. It’s holding now.

ya if the snap ring looks out of shape or bent at all I toss them out as they can't be relied on to work properly, over time I have collected a few spares I keep in my tool box

has anyone put HID bulbs in the stock halogen projectors? I know how to do it have ran them in other vehicles for decades just wondering if these are prone to melting if HID's are used. my 18 silverado has stock hid projectors and these look pretty similar design so should be ok but figured I would ask the community first.

HID no, I've run the Morimotos 3.0 H11 LED bulbs and Diode Dynamics in the fogs and my light intensity, reach, and cutoff are solid. I believe the Denali's/LTZ/Premier utilize the HID and would presume that the projectors themselves are the same across the trims, but I could be wrong.

the stock halogen bulbs suck, I have pretty much everything I need to convert them to hid just probably need a harness adapter and some bulbs, this 1LT trim didn't come with fogs but I can add the harness and switch and probably put in some diode dynamics ss3's they are pricey but worth it.

@Doubeleive its so much less stuff and less wiring to go LED. And the non-hid OEM projectors respond very well to quality HID bulbs.

@STORMIN08 has posted some great pics on the forums of his light output with the Morimoto 2-stroke 3.0 bulbs

Check his pics in this thread here:

Programmed it with the superchips f5, turned off the limiter and afm used there trans tune. This has the 5.3 so it should do around 136-137 now took it up to 115 to verify but not enough runway to get anymore out of it, the f5 allows tpms adjustment by the way. Also allows you to adjust the throttle response like a pedal commanderView attachment 406969
Got mine this week. Messed with it a bit today. Limiter, AFM, and throttle response to start.

Threw a cheapy $200 cai on it the spectre 9006 made by k&n but it's the bottom of the barrel brand, lol and it shows in the engineering. Reviews say the filter falls off so put a set screw in it and found that the adapter that goes thru the heat shield would be a problem also so I put a couple screws in it to mount it to the shield like the better built cai's are designed, all said and done it seems to be ok. I will have to pop the hood after putting some miles on it and double check everything
