the 305's look 10x's better than the 285's. what little bit I drove so far the XT's have a good ride and don't seem noisy

That's a stock 22" rim right? No rubbing on the 305/45-22? Can you post a full shot of your ride? I was debating to lower the back to level it out but after seeing your post... I have to rethink it. Seems those tires fill in pretty good. My only concern will be rubbing.

yes stock wheels. no rubbing at all, it has a RC leveling kit on the front. I was concerned about rubbing too but after they were mounted and put on there is plenty of clearance. I will get a full shot tomrrow, the wife has already took off in it lol

View attachment 64778 Just sold my 12 ltz tahoe. It was lowered 2/4 with 22 u-2 55s. Also had all of the escalade goodies on it. I just finished putting her back to stock. I just purchased a 15 suburban LT. Its not a Tahoe but the deal was to good to pass on. I just added all of the exterior LTZ chrome, tinted the sides in 20% and tinted the windshield in 55%. As soon as I am able to sell some of the stuff that I removed from the 12, I am going to add chrome 24 inch wheels and drop it 2/4. I would love to add a set of slotted rotors and pads as well.

Ordered the cargo shade and the center console organizer. $82k truck and can't believe they don't come with them already....

Tomorrow: Getting lowered with Tony's kit. 1.5 / 4". Long overdue.

So a couple of mentions in this thread have me curious.

Front Valence: what types of shops cut them back and how much do / did most of you scale it back. 2 inches? More? Less? Sales rep at my dealer said he'd never heard of this modification.

Brake Kit -- I tow a boat, the extra braking sounds like it might come in handy. Front only? Kit name(s)? Both front and back?

Thx in advance for your replies.
