How much time did it take you... not including the intake removal, just actual blasting?Hard to say, I have no idea what this would cost to be professionally done. I paid $35 for the media blaster, $28 for the Walnut shells, and $7 for a bunch of rags at Harbor Freight. The vacuum adapter I put together and 3D printed made the job a LOT less messy and easier. Without it, I'd be picking shells out of....everything. If anyone has a 3D printer and wants the STL file for the adapter, just let me know!
I'm still hunting for a spacer for behind the GMC emblem on the Denali grills so that I can 3D scan it and have an STL for that, too. Seems like that spacer is like unicorn teeth with these Yukons.
I've had everything for a while but have just been delaying it due to time commitment. Just curious how long it took to clean each port... roughly.
Nice job btw!
