Got about 150 miles in on my BB tune and it’s a sleeper. Throttle response on highways or accelerating is very noticeable. In my city driving I’ve noticed that the transmission is less jumpy. I also have a 92oct tune I’m gonna give a try but have no idea what it’s for lol. I don’t tow or race but since I’ve got it I’m gonna use it. Probably when I do my E85 fill ups.

Got the second (of three) checks for my totaled 2016 Tahoe. (Third check pending the title getting to the insurance company so they can sell it as salvage.)

Someone pulling out of their driveway looked left, looked right, and then didn't look left again. I was going about 5mph, they managed to total my Tahoe with about 8 feet of room to accelerate from their driveway. Drove their center-mounted license plate directly into my front right tire and pushed me a few feet to left as I came to a stop. Electric cars are fast, and heavy!

Would need doors, a fender & liner, running board, body straightened from A through C pillar and a crapload of paint work. No airbags blew. Given crazy post-covid collision math that's enough to total this out.

in general terms that looks like a really easy fix, 2 door skins, a quarter panel, running board, paint.

That was all the initial estimate, about $7,000, listed as required repairs. Insurance company authorized an additional few hours to take it apart and look for add'l damage.

On teardown they found that the body was bent from the A pillar all the way to the C pillar. Straightening or cutting/welding a replacement in added enough cost to total the Tahoe.

That looks great!
How's the wind noise with that front end? I'm sure mileage drops a little too. But who really cares, it's probably great for it's purpose and looks good.
I actually get a slight humming from my Thule crossbars past 60-65mph. Since the addition of the front bumper, I haven't noticed anything aside from the existing cross a bar hum.

I live in the city and am running 295/70... so I average about 10-12mpg
