What do you do when you put the 3rd row up? is the mat attached?Installed my new Husky liner for 3rd row and rearward. Fits like a glove and exactly what I wanted…
I agree, carpet in the summer is a good thing. except when you're road tripping to the beach. Sand everywhere...No its not, but we usually know when we are going to need the 3rd row and I just chuck it out in the garage. I have a dedicated 3rd row mat underneath it that stays in permanently. I don't really like the attaching of backs to the 3rd row seats. Too many times when you have a pretty heavy object to slide in or around in the back, it will catch an edge going in, or want to curl and peel it up coming out. A one piece mat solves this issue. Also if I'm hauling some thing like mulch, its just another crack for junk to fall thru and be a pain to clean out. Personally, for me, one piece is the only way to go....
Also those floor mat liners you mentioned above look good, but I only use "Liner" mats in the winter, I Just like the look and feel of carpeted mats in all but the worst seasons. Plastic liner mats make it look a little to "Trucky" for me and not as upscale....My opinion only.... I Used Lloyds custom deep carpet mats for my people areas...
