Flew out to Ohio 12/19 pick up my new, to me, 2021 Yukon XL Denali in Dark Sky Metallic w/ 31k miles. Then drove it back to IL.

- Slapped new tires on, Continental TerrainContact A/T's
- Removed the triple flash third brake light module the silly dealer installed
- Installed the "GMC" puddle lights
- Installed the black rear GMC emblem
- Installed the black front illuminated GMC emblem
- Installed WeatherTech mud flaps
- Installed smoked LED front side marker lights
- Installed all of the GMC all-weather mats front row/second row/third row/cargo area
- Ceramic IRX 25% window tint to the front side windows, pano sunroof and the windshield
- Subscribed to unlimited WiFi with OnStar
- Installed two Roku's for the rear seat entertainment system (spoiled kids lol)
- Installed the auto start/stop eliminator (remembers last position of the button)

Have a few things to address:

- Driver side inboard airbag has a high resistance fault. I have the new connector sitting on my desk to be installed.
- Some of the headliner clips need to be replaced, rattles.
- The two captains chairs also have some rattles, found the TSB for them and the new c-clips to install.
- Refinishing the wheels, 3 of the 4 have been curbed. Will be doing powdercoat instead of the machined finish.
- PDR, there are a few dings I'll get addressed.
- Paint correction and 5 year ceramic coat (after the wheel refinishing and PDR, so everything will get coated).

Just had the front brakes done, only 31k miles and they were shot kind of surprised. I was pressed for time so I had the dealer install new pads and sensors and it cost around $550.

What did the DIC say for brake pad life % before you changed them? I'm at 10K and it shows 97% Front and 98% Rear. I know that's just a dumb sensor, but I'm happy with how little they've worn in 10K...

Damn. Thats insanely terrible. I changed out the original brakes on the wifes ‘16 denali at 125k miles, and they were still pretty good yet.

Looks like FedEx will be delivering the S&B CAI and the J&L oil separator today. Guess I'll have something to tinker with this afternoon, pending what time FedEx actually arrives.

57% for the front and 74% for the rear and from how i understand it, the DIC just uses an algorithm to estimate the brake pad life.

The Sensors on the pads themself are very simple and once they hit the wear mark it will throw a code.

I was a bit surprised as well I thought they would last much longer.
