What did the DIC say for brake pad life % before you changed them? I'm at 10K and it shows 97% Front and 98% Rear. I know that's just a dumb sensor, but I'm happy with how little they've worn in 10K...Just had the front brakes done, only 31k miles and they were shot kind of surprised. I was pressed for time so I had the dealer install new pads and sensors and it cost around $550.
Damn. Thats insanely terrible. I changed out the original brakes on the wifes ‘16 denali at 125k miles, and they were still pretty good yet.Just had the front brakes done, only 31k miles and they were shot kind of surprised. 57% for the front and 74% for the rear and from how i understand it, the DIC just uses an algorithm to estimate the brake pad life. What did the DIC say for brake pad life % before you changed them?
