Did a CB radio install.

I removed the factory slave cassette deck since it's useless ever since I put in a new stereo years ago. The CB radio fit very well in the space although its a bit skinnier than the cassette deck.

I also made a mounting bracket for the antenna that attaches on the rear above the taillights from underneath the plastic "vents". I still need to thoroughly check my grounds and get a SWR meter so I can tune the radio and antenna properly, but that's the easy part. Here's some pics

Think I would have brought the mounting bracket out a hair more as it looks like the wire might rub on the paint, nice mod though.

Yeah I didn't realize that until it was a little too late. Maybe one of these weekends Ill make a new bracket as it only took a few minutes to make the first one. I also need to take the antenna/bracket assembly apart and sand and put some star washers where the bracket mounts to the body cause I can tell I don't have a solid ground based off some of the noise I'm getting through the radio

Installed Escalade rear vent covers and cluster from a wrecked Cadillac we got in at work! The blue led lights look way better in the escy dash cluster.
