Changed the ISS. Worlds better now. Steering is stiff and no clunking noises when going over bad roads, which is all we have where I'm at. Feels like a new truck.

Just finished new fuel pump and filter and also had a newly rebuilt 4L60E trans installed with all the goodies and a 2500 stall converter.

That and the BBP tune really helped this thing get out of the hole MUCH better.

LT headers, ORY and cat-back are waiting to go on next and then retuning via an autocal with BBP...

Dialing in the cutoff on my Depo projectors. Light output is far superior to OEM even though not HID. Had a little issue when one of the adjustment screws pulled out of the nylon insert that held it in place. Dammit!! Made a quick fix with some zip ties and almost got the right side level with the left side.

Actually a better fit than when the adjustment screw was in its factory spot. Go figure. Still wobbles a bit. May have to do the ping pong ball trick to settle it down. Looks pretty good. Let me know if I am missing anything else.

Is it the lower iss? Common Yukon problem. Just a pinch bolt on the top around the master cylinder area, and the bottom just slips on to splines on the steering box if my memory is accurate.

Oh no. Real easy. Maybe thirty minutes max. It's two bolts and that's it. I watched a YouTube video from 1A Auto on it. I had to remove my lower AC vent, which all you have to do it pull it slightly towards the door and slips off, in order to pull the shaft out of the firewall. Pulling it out was the hardest part for me because a piece of my gas pedal bracket was bent up and it made the angle hard to work with. Otherwise very easy.

I ordered it off Amazon; the Dorman 425-176 Intermediate Steering Shaft. I also had to buy a 3/8" torque ratchet, just to be sure.

New plugs and wires. Runs much smoother. Don't think they've ever been changed before because one of the plugs were cracked
