I removed my Denali roof rack today and buffed out the old lines on the roof, getting ready for my color matched Esky one. Even the chrome side rails are getting CM. Then I washed it up.

There's threaded inserts that you can just reinstall the original bolts back into so they don't stay full of water but there's no actual through holes so it won't leak to the inside. And the picture in that post should answer your second question! And there's a couple more pics in my build thread here:Does it leave holes in the roof? How would it look with it gone completely?

What method did you use for that? Did you have a painter do it? I'm in the process of having the chrome side rails of a Esky roof rack done by a painter.Color matched the chrome on my rear bumper.View attachment 66054
Not sure of the exact size, but it's def not 6.5. I thought about putting in a 6.5 speaker in there and it was too big. I ran my sub that drives my kicker to the Bose sub and it was just too much for the Bose, so i just spliced it into a door speaker. Sounds fine like that. What size is the cut out of that enclosure? Haven't had one apart in years. Looks like it may be able to fit a dd 6.5 sub in there. Even if you have to make an adapter ring.
