Ugly?! I have that same grille inserts!!! Lol
But i painted mine black tho, and it looks so much better imo. Those inserts would look good black on your black truck.

That wheel looks nice! Is it leather wrapped? Looks like it takes the stock air bag too. Sweet! For a brief minute I was thinking of replacing mine, which is in fantastic shape, with this one.WP_20160606_001.jpgBut I changed my mind. This one is also in great shape.

I heard those can be tricky, especially on a AWD or 4WD due to the shield. Kinda glad I paid a trans shop $50 to install mine. Hope you're not down too long.
Honestly the heat shield isn't difficult. It's 2 10mm bolts. No biggie

I believe both of my issues were installer error. 1. Make sure the circlip holding the servo cover is fully seated. It can look "in" even if it's not. And 2. Install the 4th piston inside the servo cover. Don't try to slide the cover over top of everything because it can get hung up on the seal and booger it up.

It's all back together and we're back in action so no worries now. Take your time and go slow.

No permanent damage?
