Girlfriend's gonna be pissed when she finds out what I'm doing on Sunday instead of taking her to brunch. Installing 5.13 gears and e-fans.

Where did you end up getting the fans from and which ones?

Oh man! Talk about a score! I need to do the Electric fans since Sacramento can suck for stop and go traffic in the summer. I need to find somebody local that can flash my ECM for the fans.

i ran fans off a fog light switch and two replays for years. i just left it on all the time. but winter time, id turn em off to let it warm up, not that it matters so much cause coolant dont flow until the t stat opens up. my ac was never colder either with the swap.

I bought the Nelson Performance harness and added the manual in-cab lead just in case I decided to go that route.

What a deal on those fans, like half price and nothing was wrong with them. Nice grab man, I need to get a set soon...
Yeah, I can't complain yet!

Can't even get them for $100 used. They look exactly like the stock setup.
I have been looking everywhere for a while and couldn't find em for less than $99. I thought about going to the pick-n-pull, but nothin would piss me off more than doing all that work and having them go bad on me while I was cruisin down the road.

Got some pics of the LED puddle light upgrades. For some reason, the passenger side has the Festoon bulb holder, which I put a 6 LED in, and the driver side has a 195 socket in the side, so I put a 5 LED flat plug that I had on hand. Why would it be this way?? I'm going to make a junkyard run and get another festoon housing. Here are the pics for comparison.

I've never seen a 194 puddle light housing before. Got a pic of it ?

I saw a member on here a while back on IG that put an 02 Avalanche rear bumper on his ride and I thought it looked pretty cool...so I finally found one that was in pretty decent condition, painted it and mounted it last night. Definitely changed the look and not bad for $100 and some paint. I might put some LED reverse lights in it one of these days too.

Not a fan of the rock bumpers but this one I would rock. 100%:boobs:

Edit: nvm I just realized it's a 1st gen avy bumper with the cladding. Still ****. Why don't we see more of these conversions?!
