I used to live in Marin County ( across - North of Golden Gate Bridge)....

I used to see guys in trucks drive through "rain water"... not remembering it was flooded salt water.

Real smart.
Yeah I've seen enough engines hydrolocked to know better not to even try without proper gear. That and I don't need to end up on youtube floating down the river when tahoe turns raft!

These are good rigs but they are NOT designed for water fording

Rear temp actuator failed. Stuck on hot. Removed panel an actuator cover. Then I pulled the gear shown in hand and moved the door to cold and reinstalled. Don’t want to spend any money lol5d102a4dbd2dbfbd5d8b956b4bdbf280.jpg

I took my front actuator apart, cleaned it, spread the lube back around, reinstalled. Been working perfectlyfor 3 years now

My drivers window switch had been steadily getting harder to put the window down. Had to press the button harder and harder. Auto down rarely worked. Finally got around to pulling it out and apart. Cleaned the contacts real good on the board and the rubber membrane. Works much better now.:) Should have done that years ago when I put blue leds in.

Tell me more... I haven't pulled the switches apart; are they SMDs that need soldering or regular bulbs? I'm interested in doing a color change in my Denali.
They are SMD’s you have to remove and solder in the new LEDS. I used a kit I got off eBay. He has a kit for each section of the interior. Definitely can go cheaper by purchasing separate LEDs, but these were cube leds and have built in resisters. Come with good instructions, which helped as it was my first time soldering. I’ve done everything except the rear ac/radio controls on the back of the center console.

^^ Don’t think the link is working. Search ebay seller GM-gauge-repair and check out his store.

Thanks, Mike! I'll check that out. I've done SMD swap in my old MINI Cooper, so this wouldn't be much different, then.

Finished my Front end LEDs, not sure if I'm sold on the headlights yet(I went cheap, will be carrying tools to change them if they act up) they definitely light better than the stock bulbs, and of course being reflectors that limits them as well. I'll take pictures at some point, I just couldn't get good ones.
Next up LED light bar, still deciding on where to put it on this funny front end.
