Came out pretty good. Looks like pewter.Painted my door speaker grilles. I used a high heat engine dark grey metallic color.

No used scrubbing bubbles cleaner and a red scotch brite to clean them , rinsed with water real good , blow dry with air , applied paint , then used a heat gun to cure it a bit. Let sit for a couple of hours then installed them. No need to try and remover the factory paint , would be more hassle than benefit.Did you strip the old paint?

Scrubbing bubbles is one of the best cleaners... even for leather seats
