What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'm trying to get a clear understanding of something. Can somebody give me a straight forward answer please?! I have the parts sitting around for the 2500 HD Grille modification, I want to just install the grille itself and the upper bumper cap. Do I still need to modify the bumper supports or can I just bolt on the grille and cap? Trying to get an idea before I jump into this blindly.

Had a pretty productive weekend.

Ac compressor, accumulator, orifice tube and line cleaning. Blows better but only gets down to 60 when idling. Going to clean the condenser and replace the fan clutch next. Compressor hadn't failed but sounded like it was in borrowed time. I had limped it along last summer and wasn't going to risk it failing when it is 110 outside.

Why does the Tahoe look so much lower in the 2nd pic? Do the wheels make that much difference in fenderwell gap?

1st pic is just leveled with 2” rear springs.
2nd pic is after 2/4 drop.

Have to modify the frame. Sucks but there’s no other choice, wish there was an easier option

Well at least now I know. Thanks! I'm just waiting for a buddy to junk his 2001 Silverado so I can steal all the front end parts to do this for cheap and have OEM parts.

Plugs, wires and thermostat last week, then CoverKings neoprene seat covers on the front seats this weekend. Thermo is likely original. Engine runs closer to normal temp now and seems to warm up faster.
