I replaced the y pipe rather than cut the old ones out and put new ones in. Was under $400 iirc

You have the 5.3 or 6.0? I found a lot of reasonably priced ones for the 5. . But each one I found for the 6.0 was about 200-300 each

5.3. Was a flowmaster unit. I think magnaflow has 6.0 stuff but idk what the prices are off the top of my head

Put some steel wool in there? It helps to catch the oil vapors.

I believe it is a giant flopro muffler that is dual 3" in/out. Never looked close at it but I like how quiet it is so I don't plan to change it even if I'm losing 10hp or so. The PO had a magnaflow dual 3" in/out and said it droned terribly. He gave it to me but I think my neighbor stole it lol.

I think its part #2500. Sounds basically stock just a little idle chop and when you get on it there's not much exhaust note just some grunt from the engine. At least that's what it sounds like from inside.
