Came out great!
Well that took forever , I figured you already had some. Matches nicely !finally decided to replace the burnt out fog. ( did replace them both, but this pic shows the comparison) Matches color temp with headlights and switchbacks much closer. Not a huge difference in output compared to 899s. Didnt take it on the road to compare unfortunately.

how far do you need to extend it?
you can make a bracket and it would give you whatever room there is before it stops when open
you can attach one end where the ball currently is then on your bracket drill a hole and make a slot to insert the cable, giving you an 1" or whatever you need
