Foglight mod wired wrong?

typically when a GM catches fire it's from an oil leak valve covers probably leaked onto the exhaust manifold... good to inspect any car for oil leaks esp near the exhaust manifold

GM made an attempt to fix this with heat shields on the GMT900 GMT800 does not have it..

i forgot that the most GMT800s now days are too clogged up to even get any oil to the valve area after doing those 10,000 mile oil changes

I said that jokingly, because in another thread he couldn't get the foglight mod to work correctly because he had it wired wrong

the wire would have melted away before anything happened (that is why you use inline fuses)

didoes would have popped like a fuse if too much current is passed

Lol this sounds like it was it other than the issue of it hasn’t been running for at least 5 days while I was doing brake lines.

uuhhhh the exhaust manifolds are the same from 99-15 and have a heat shield unless it's rusted and fell off
