Drove all the way back home to north Alabama Saturday, grabbed a truck and trailer, drove all the way back to Meridian Mississippi and got there at 1:30 Sunday morning and stayed in a hotel to get some rest, woke up at 8, was on the road by 9:30, got to Biloxi and got to the condo we stayed at (my dad got an extended parking pass for us to be able to come back and get it), pulled it out to an empty parking lot that had enough room to load my truck onto the trailer, I was able to drive it on since I still had 1st and second. Got it loaded up, and hit the road for back home. We drove all day back home and got back about 11 pm Sunday night. Over 1200 miles in 24 hours. I ended up getting a brand new 4l60E from Chevrolet, $1540 I believe with a 3 year/100k mile warranty. The next Sunday me and my dad swapped the transmission and put a new rear main seal in it and had in driving in about 3 and a half hours
Excellent!

Dash looks good. You gonna try and clean up the crack on the left of the display?

WTF is all over your wipers? Park under a pine tree?

Also, is that a mini-me of your vehicle on the dash by the A-Pillar?

1.Will probly buy a new bezel at some point,i bought the bezel long before i had the dashboard on ebay for 45 bucks, didnt know about the damage to it when i got it,explains why it was so cheap, the bezel is what made me want to get the dash since i didnt realize how angular the Esky bezel was until i installed it so getting the dash was always on the to do list to mend the problem.

2.Yeah its a bunch of pine needles, since i bought my 03 Tahoe i parked the 04 Suburban for a while to do some things to it,ended up sitting under the pine trees next to the house for 3 months since we dont have a garage and we now have 6 vehicles at the house, just recently got the thing moving so a pressure wash and alcohol bath is in order to get all the sap off.

3.Yep! when i had an 01 Tahoe 4 years ago i found that little toy at a Rite Aid and have had it since then, fun little novelty, that thing has been in the dash of an 01 Hoe,06 Burb, and now an 04 Burb.

Finished buttoning it back up after replacing a cracked refurb head (was either bad to start or cracked in less than 500 miles.) It runs! Letting it cool and then topping off the coolant and see how it drives. I'm tired of pulling heads!
