It is the high side port. Yes, closest to the passenger fender. The low side port is closest to the drier, and isn’t prone to leaking.Which valve is the one that commonly leaks? From a quick google search I am assuming the valve closer to the passenger side fender?
Thats what I was hoping you’d say. My truck has a big leak someplace and they replaced this valve with a schrader valve. I am wondering if there’s something wrong with the new valve though because it’s the only place with any of the leak detection dye on it but that could come from filling it.It is the high side port. If you keep throwing belts, you might want to check pulley alignment with :My AC belt came off for the second time in as many months. I replaced it last time so now I’m doing the tensioner too even though it was replaced a few years ago. Went with AC Delco OE.
Thanks. This is just the AC belt though, not the main serpentine. And it just started happening without any other work being done. Kinda weird. I'll see if I can eyeball it when I replace the tensioner or maybe use a straight edge.If you keep throwing belts, you might want to check pulley alignment with :View attachment 349342
My PS pump pulley was a good 1/8" off and kept wearing the edge of the belt.
Make sure the engine is running, using the straight edge, to check ......Thanks. This is just the AC belt though, not the main serpentine.
