I found a bunch of YT videos. Cutting it isn’t hard, welding and filling the underside where the inside layer gets cut might be.

Roll a welding rod on the concrete to break all the flux off, bend to shape and weld that along the seam. It'll give it a rounded edge that matches the original, non-modded part.

Finished my Front wheel bearing with rust protection, changed spark plugs, air filter, assembled my steering wheel and motor compartment and tomorrow I can finally make my wheel alignment...

Than the truck is, after 14 days of truck withdrawal, on the road again...
